Output 1 provides to the users a general overview about the relation between multifunctional farming practices and EAL and will underline the importance of such practices for the sustainability of rural areas. The function of this published report will be introducing the themes treated in the other elements of the training system giving historical and statistical data and general concept related to EAL.

The main activities related to WP1 and to the development of the Output 1 are the following ones:

O1/A1: Database of Beneficiaries

  • The partners selected a group of direct beneficiaries of the training system (at least 50) that have been involved in the project implementation and especially in the testing of the training materials beta version.

O1/A2: Workshop

  • Workshop amongst partners to make a first analysis of the context at European, national and local level.

O1/A3 & A4: Research Instrument

  • Design of the research instrument to perform the state of the art analysis. Deeper analysis of the state of the art involving experts and stakeholders not belonging to the project’s consortium.

O1/A5: National Reports

  • Edition of National Reports (NRs) about the State of the Art of the relation between sustainable/multifunctional farming practices and EAL.

O1/A6: Summary Report

  • Summary Report (EN): Edition of SR about the State of the Art of the relation between sustainable/multifunctional farming practices and EAL.
